Exactly. I always think, what if the only thing we ever saw of A/R was the Six of One fight? We probably wouldn't think all that highly of that relationship either. I can't see Laura staying in a relationship that was that risky for her professionally and personally if she didn't have feelings for the guy.

That means I would make Kara and Zarek Cylons just because I think it would be interesting and wouldn't really cause back story conflicts.

I guess Torn, if they could redo the plot-relevant stuff better.

...to be totally honest? I actually like the Final Five as-is. Justifications on all of them are a long essay for another time and place, though. Um. I guess I'd switch out Sam, on the sheer basis of "how does that work," (also my justification for him is the weakest, probably) and Tory, because before becoming a Cylon she didn't really have much of a personality/story and they could have done more interesting things with someone who had a more-established character. I'd replace Tory with either Billy or Zarek, because of the need for a high-ranked civillian, and then I'd replace Sam with Gaeta.
